IN ORDER TO RAISE FUNDS FOR MS RESEARCH, A UNIQUE INITIATIVE BETWEEN NYENRODE AND MISSION SUMMIT FOUNDATION HAS BEEN CREATED.
Nyenrode-Summit Class, 10-11-2011
Several renowned Nyenrode professors will team up with several interesting guest speakers from the business world. These prominent professors and Nyenrode have generously donated their time and facilities for the sole purpose of helping to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis.
In each class, an ‘impossible to solve’ situation will be presented. Together, the professors and business guest speakers will combine the theory and practice of their areas of expertise in order to explore and analyse each particular case. Ultimately, you will gain insights in how the company actually dealt with and solved the seemingly impossible assignment it faced at the time, and learn best case practices.
There will be ample time to reflect and interact with other participants.

Background of this initiative:
A Group of Nyenrode alumni were preparing to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, when one of them, Niels van Buren, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Niels’ life has changed, but his intention to climb the mountain has not. With this news, the preparation for Kilimanjaro turned into more than just a climb. It was transformed into a desire to make a difference!
The ‘greater goal’:
The group’s response was to extend the goal beyond simply reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro but to simultaneously raise funds for MS Research: 50.000 Euros is the BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal).
All donations will be put towards the MS Research foundation, which supports all those who suffer from MS today.
